Information about the Netherlands
The Netherlands has an open economy and the level of trade with other countries is extensive. The country is the fifth-largest exporter of goods and  earns some 33% of its income from the export of goods and services. The Netherlands is the second-largest exporter of agricultural products worldwide, after the United States.

Due to its location in Europe, Dutch companies do a substantial amount of business with other EU countries, so that the Netherlands is an ideal “spring board” to EU markets. Transportation infrastructure and distribution networks are world-class. 22% of all EU road transport goes through the Netherlands.  Schiphol  is the world’s 4th largest passenger airport and 3rd largest cargo airport. Rotterdam is the world’s 3rd largest port.

The Netherlands is politically stable with an effective governance and creating an environment where foreign companies are able to conduct business in a safe and secure manner.
